Description
Scrapbook of Florence G. Sammet Rothschild. Her scrapbook contians clippings of her writing on events and life at Barnard during the year 1908. It also contains numerous write-ups of plays and social gatherings that took place at Barnard College, including a minstrel show put on by Barnard College women. Of particular interest are her articles describing a talk given by Socialist advocate Mrs. Rose Pastor Phelps-Stoke and visits from Suffragists hoping to recruit Barnard women to the cause.
