Description
Diary of Lucy Fletcher (later Hawley) from October 23, 1841 through February 3, 1842. The entries describe special lecturers and guests of the college, including visitors from China and missionaries working in Palestine and the Hawaiian Islands. Also included is a copied translation of a composition written by a Hawaiian child in Honolulu. The last entry in the diary summarizes a visit to a psychiatric hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.
