Description
In response to letters from her mother and her sister Gertrude, Marjory discusses her French class, the cost of a couch-cover for her bed and books for school, her stained duck skirt, a Freshman physcial exam, basketball, music, the people she has met including teachers, and the Freshman Frolic. Marjory was glad to get the items Gertrude sent her, particularly her glasses. The letter includes details about the election of class officers, a bicycle ride to Easthampton with Beatrice Pickett, life in the dormitory and the weather. Letter addressed to "Mamma."
